"Tree of happiness" in the first Festival of parks in Veliko Tarnovo

"Tree of happiness" with messages about the success of the candidacy of  Veliko Tarnovo for European Capital of Culture 2019 will "grow" in the Park "Boruna" during the first Festival of parks on 21 June 2014. The first Festival of parks in Veliko Tarnovo will continue from 11: 00 am. until 17: 00. The event was held under the project "CultTour – cultural heritage as (garden) focal points for sustainable tourism", implemented by the municipality of Veliko Tarnovo and is devoted to the candidacy of Veliko Tarnovo for European Capital of Culture for 2019.

In workshops outdoors children and youth will draw in the Park will produce houses and feeders for birds and will get their first lessons in gardening – plant, for which to care at home. Will be open "Treasury of the world", from which you can choose lucky notes with thoughts of parks, gardens, happiness or to write the wings thinking, to complement the wisdom of the ages. In the exhibition "Parks and gardens" will be presented producer of flowers and gardeners, as well as accessories for the garden.

The project "CultTour – cultural heritage as (garden) focal points for sustainable tourism", which is carried out thanks to the interregional cooperation programme INTERREG IV c, funded by the European Union (EU), in the framework of the European territorial cooperation (ETC) and the operational programme for transnational cooperation in South East Europe (SEE), co-financed by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF).

Under the project on June 20, 2014 at 10: 00 am. in front of the Faculty of Visual Arts, thematic exhibition will be opened thematic exhibition "Parks of Veliko Tarnovo", while an hour later in the Conference Hall of the “Rafael Mihailov” exhibition halls began a Conference on the same topic.
