The new original dance-music show "5 x 5 + 1," the choreographer Peter Iliev will be presented in Veliko Tarnovo on 30 may at 19: 00. in the theatre "Konstantin Kisimov". Before this, from 16:00 in the theater, the artistic director of the Foundation “Dance Art – Iliev" and dance works " Dance It!“ Peter Iliev will be an outdoor lesson with children from dance and ballet ensembles in the Youth's home. The meeting is the project for access to culture by the initiatives for European capital of culture 2019. Within the project children-talents from the city met with the world-famous pianist Richard Clayderman, the EMU-bellied Orchestra and Austrian musicians from Quartet eXtracello and Quintet Alma.<o:p></o:p>
Peter Iliev was known to the audience from the show “Magadans challenge” and is a teacher at Pacific Northwest Ballet and Ballet Chicago in the United States.<o:p></o:p>
"5 x 5 + 1" is an interdisciplinary performance, which presents (5 + 1) different dance-musical miniatures with the same, (5 + 1) young dancers that will tell through 5 dance style messages of four very different choreographer-ballerina Theresa Ruth Howard, Christian Van Howard and Craig Daniel, who works in the style of hip hop. The topics are related to human relationships in their various dimensions.<o:p></o:p>
"5 x 5 + 1" is applied in the context of the experimental genres of dance and performance, but relying on an authentic authorial style in every one of its detail – choreography, musical composition, arrangement and performance. The music of the two composers from the border between folklore and jazz – Petar Ralchev and Peyo Peev. It will be performed live by Stoyan Yankulov – Stunge, Angel Dimitrov and Boris Taslev.<o:p></o:p>
