Generosity Gallery "Nikola Pavlovic" with the first exhibition in Veliko Tarnovo

Generosity art gallery “Nikolay Pavlovich" for the first time will be presented in Veliko Tarnovo. The exhibition opens on May 21 from 5: 30 pm in “Rafael Mihailov” exhibition halls. The event is part of the initiatives of the project Velko Tarnovo - candidate for European capital of culture 2019, with the support of the region.

In the exhibition were selected from the works of the Gallery's patron and master of painting “Nikolay Pavlovich” and other artists from the Riverside town, among which the Accad. Alexander Bozhinov, Nikola Tanev, Tzvetan Radoslavov. The audience will be able to see and portraits of prominent people of Svishtov, Dimitar Shishmanov, Philip Sakelarievich, Ivan Atanasovich, the first Bulgarian mayor elected after the liberation of Svishtov 1877, of Akkad. Alexander Bojinov, Ruska Marinova, Aleko Konstantinov , Nicola Mihajlov and others.

The art gallery in Svishtov was established in 1967 as a "picture gallery" at the local Museum of history.

In 1988 was designated as a private art gallery bearing the name of the Bulgarian national revival painter Nikolay Pavlovich. During the years the Fund is updated from the buyouts, donations from the NATIONAL Council for culture, district Veliko Tarnovo, private individuals, etc. and now exceeds 5,300 units.
