Pepsi supported the candidacy of Veliko Tarnovo for European Capital of Culture. When visiting the production base of "Quadrant Beverages" of Israeli Ambassador Shaul Kamisa Raz and Tarnovo’s Mayor Daniel Panov, The Executive Director of the company Tamir Sabbath said that the company will support the initiative "Veliko Tarnovo 2019 – Creating happiness." At the meeting have discussed ideas for festivals, sponsorships and visiting Finnish Eurovision Song Contest Israel 2014 in Veliko Tarnovo.
