Students debuted with the project “Point of contact-Tangible- tactile"

Three students from the Faculty of Fine Arts  of University “St. St. Cyril and Methodius”, are presented in the project  “Point of contact-Tangible-tactile" in Rafael Mihailov exhibition halls in Veliko Tarnovo. A project curated by Atanas Totlyakov Assistant, launched on 22 April by 17: 30 in Hall "Debuts" and will continue until May 2, 2014. Young authors are Dejan Boev, Dimitar Terziev, Christopher Daniels are provoked by the subject, marked taktislostta (perception by touch) and making art in perceptible by touch.

"Point of contact" started from 22 to 24 April with the installation "Еmotional frontier" of  Dean Boev from plastic foam, print and stretch film. The author focuses on the distance, the borders and the fake tag and search for abstract presentation of everyday situations, refracted through a touch experience.

From 25 to 28 April Dimitar Terziev will present his "Tactile labyrinth", which relies on a sense of disorientation and end the chaos, confusing the thoughts, during which the participants will be in a small and narrow space to reach the finish point.

The artistic interventions of Denitza Milusheva in Porto (Portugal) are included in her "tactile map attractions in Porto," which will be presented from 29 April to 2 May. Denitza was in Portugal Erasmus and creates tourist guide of inconspicuous but interesting with its natural form places, adding a small embossed sign.

The student's debut is part of the initiatives in support of the candidacy of Veliko Tarnovo for European Capital of Culture 2019. It is part of project Happy-Nes (t) s funded by the European Cultural Foundation. Within this project Atanas Totlyakov, Joanna Tiele and Ivaylo Vasilev launch demonstration form of international Internet platform for conceptual art forms "Urban Shortcut" (direct link) for authoring projects, seven art, philosophical and culturological analysis and documented discussions about contemporary art.
