The city of Rousse support our project of European capital of culture

The project "Veliko Tarnovo – candidate for European capital of culture 2019" received support from the town of Rousse. In a special letter from the Mayor of the Riverside town of Plamen Stoilov to our municipality's Mayor Danielle Panov says: "I congratulate you heartily for the eloquent nomination of your city in the first stage of the selection of the European capital of culture in 2019”. Along with this, I want to wish a successful outcome of the second stage of the race. I believe that your ideas and concepts will be evaluated by the international jury.

In the event that your city be elected as the European capital of culture we express readiness for partnership and interaction for implementation of joint projects, which no doubt would have been essential for the cultural development of local communities."
