Hungary supports at Government level Veliko Tarnovo's candidacy for European capital of culture

Hungary will support at Government level the candidacy of Veliko Tarnovo for European capital of culture. This was agreed by the President of Veliko Tarnovo City Council Nikolay Ashikov and Deputy Mayor of Veliko Tarnovo municipality Snejana Daneva during their visit in the old capital district fraternized Zuglu of Hungary's capital Budapest, on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of the founding of the Association of Bulgarians in Hungary.

The Bulgarian community is among the recognized minorities on the territory of Hungary, who have their own representation at the State and local level.
